Butch joined USfalcon in October 2014 and is Vice President for Strategic Growth. He brings over thirty years of experience in Federal and DoD program management, business development, information technology, services, and C4ISR.
Before joining USfalcon, Butch led NCI Information Systems’ Air Force Information Operations group with $55M P&L where he developed Air Force IT and Cyber strategies, campaigns, and pipelines.
Prior to NCI, Butch was Vice President for Business Development for BAE Systems’ Technology Solutions and Services Group, where he led a team that grew a $400M business unit to $650M in four years. He also acted, at the Air Force’s request, as Program Manager for an ACAT II Communications Program supporting the Air Force Tactical Air Control Party community.
Butch is a retired Air Force officer with over 2500 hours in various models of the RC-135’s. As an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO), he held positions from Instructor EWO, Standardization and Evaluation Chief, and Squadron Operations Officer. Also, he was Chief of Western European Division for Air Force International Affairs handling $4B in Foreign Military Sales. Butch was the first NATO officer to deploy to Belarus to lecture at their military academies. He has held leadership roles in both the Pentagon and Korea and has had the pleasure to serve in locations as diverse as Diego Garcia, Thailand, Osan Korea, Shemya, Alaska, and Oberammergau, Germany.
Butch received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy and holds a Masters of Arts degree in International Relations from Creighton University. His awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with 2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal with Three Oak Leaf Clusters, Aerial Achievement Medal, and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with One Silver Oak Leaf Cluster.
Butch has worked closely with the Boy Scouts as a Scout Master over the years. Additionally, as a long-time SCUBA Instructor, he has had the privilege of teaching SCUBA diving to wounded veterans and their spouses.
