Morrisville, N.C. – USfalcon announced that it has completed delivery of three UH-60 Black Hawk MEDEVAC air crew Medical Support Equipment Suite (MSES) training systems with its subcontractor Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. on a contract awarded in June 2013. The MSES is a high fidelity training system that provides Flight Medics the training required to treat, stabilize and provide in-flight medical care to the critically injured or ill while being transported aboard the Black Hawk air ambulance. The simulated systems replicate the Troop, Carousel, and IMMSS (Interim Medevac Mission Support System) configurations and the confined environment of the aircraft platform. The systems were officially handed over to the US Army School of Aviation Medicine (USASAM) on 5 June 2014 at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
"USfalcon is proud to partner with Kratos to provide enhanced training systems for the U.S. Army and PEO Aviation,” said Kyle Gerlitz, Vice President of USfalcon Army Operations. “This is the first of many successes we anticipate in the Aviation Training Simulation business as we seek out the best value team to develop advanced solutions.”
USfalcon is also under contract and leading teams for a CH-47 training simulator with Kratos and a AN/ARC-231 Multiple-band Avionics Radio Suite (MARS) Virtual Interactive Environment Trainer with teammate Pinnacle Solutions.
